Isabelle Graillet

Originally from Belgium, I grew up in Europe and Asia and came to the UK to study at Cardiff University. I began my journey in Creative Arts Therapy with a Diploma in Arts in Therapy and Education (London).

Keen to empower clients with effective relief from trauma and to spare them long dependency on talking therapy, I learned EFT, Reiki and other holistic modalities. Ten years ago I obtained a Diploma in Integrated Energy Techniques (IET), which combines the power of NLP and EFT with the flow of Hypnotherapy and the latest energy psychology techniques to achieve lasting results.

Pursuing an integrative approach to Child Therapy, I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy from Leeds University and PTUK, and the Heart to Heart Training to support parent and child attachment. I worked in Sacred Heart School in Sowerby Bridge and am now seeing children in my private practice.

Having acquired extensive experience of body, mind and spiritual healing techniques over the past 30 years, my own self-development is always a priority. I undertook Las Piramides’s intense metaphysical training in Guatemala, where I deepened my knowledge of energy healing techniques, chakra clearing, lucid dreaming, past lives regression, hands-on healing, psychic awareness, yoga and meditation.

Fluent in English and French, I am passionate about supporting people from all backgrounds, orientation and ability. I have worked with children of all ages, stimulating emotional creativity through inspiring arts & crafts, drama games and interactive storytelling in various places including the Museum of Childhood in London and in private settings.

Building on extensive travels as a child and adult, I combine a unique blend of the most effective personal change techniques available today with age-old traditions from across the world to offer a unique, fun and tailored approach to your or your child's individual needs.

Training

As a Certified Play Therapist, I work to the ethical guidelines of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and receive regular clinical supervision from a BACP approved and PTUK accredited Supervisor.

I am a BACP Registered Member (411391), accredited and regulated by the Professional Standards Authority and I am committed to continuous professional development.

As an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, I adhere to the EFTi Code of Conduct and Ethics, including annual CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and Mentoring activities.

I have an enhanced DBS and a full professional insurance. I am registered with the ICO, and all interactions are held in the strictest of confidence in line with ethical guidelines.
